My name is Shane Brown, and I am an American citizen who has graduated from Global TESOL College with an advanced Certificate in teaching TESOL and a specialization in teaching children and Adults.

I have been teaching in Shanghai, China for 4 years, teaching young children, teenagers, and adults. I have always been impressed and interested in the culture and the language of your country. At this time, I would like to immerse myself in your culture in order to not only learn more, but to also experience your wonderful country and its citizen’s first-hand. It has always been a goal of mine to learn the Mandarin language, and I feel that the only way to learn is to immerse myself in the Chinese culture. Most of all, I anticipate teaching the people of your country, who will bring great insight into my own understanding of peoplein general, mixed with cultural enlightenment.

I, like many who have chosen the education field, have a passion for teaching and assisting children and adults in achieving their educational goals. Originally I spent 6 years in the technology field where I had the opportunity to work as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, as well as a Microsoft Certified Trainer or Teacher. As a professional Trainer for Microsoft, I enjoyed teaching small classes, as well as large classes. Through this experience, I realized how rewarding teaching was. I also am currently teaching Golf classes. My students range from young children to teenagers. My classes range in size from 4 to 20.
