English Teacher (China)

Taught for multinational and fortune 500 companies such as; Shenhua Energy Corp, Bank of China, China Post, SK Telecom, Shangri-La Hotel, schools such as Dell English, and English First and have taught a wide range of students from doctors and nurses,  to executives and CEOs, kindergarten children, teenagers, and adults, in both group and one on one settings.

WORLDSMART International Inc. / Baland Consulting Inc. / MffM Educations Inc. (Entrepreneur)

Owned and operated multiple businesses. One was an IT consulting based firm that recruited individuals for positions in IT. The other business was a tutoring agency that matched qualified tutors with students in need of tutoring. The final business involved international trade, investment and finance between partners in North America, Europe, Australia, China and Asia, Africa and the Middle East. All three businesses require skill sets that include excellent interpersonal skills, marketing, organization, interviewing, planning, creativity, innovation and of course leadership. 

Norland Consulting (Recruiter)

Norland Consulting was a Toronto/Montreal based Consulting Company that operates primarily within the manufacturing and financial sectors. Norland offered SAP -wide area network - and development resources to their clients. My function with Norland was to analyze mandates, recruiting and interviewing candidates for these consulting positions, and co-coordinating staffing between clients and consultants.

 Green Lawn Care (Sales, Customer Service and Telemarketing)

Employed for approximately two years in which time I began as a telemarketer cold calling residences in Ontario, from Ottawa to Windsor. I was promoted to customer service with the job of dealing with unsatisfied customers with the aim of recovering lost business. I later worked on special projects with the branch manager. Eventually became employed as part of the sales team with the focus of selling the company’s services within the Toronto area. I was annually ranked third in sales for the entire organization. Additional duties involved data entry. 

Magician

Worked as a magician, a hobby that later transpired into a functional income. Performances ranged from close-up and parlor shows, to restaurant engagements, corporate functions, special events and especially children’s birthday parties. I have performed in such renowned venues as Faneuil Hall in Boston, one of the world’s foremost premises for street performances.
