Lawrence is an eloquent speaker of English and has proved his spoken English ability through work on radio and as a live commentator for events held in countries such as Germany, Holland and Korea.  Lawrence also has excellent written English as he worked as a full-time journalist for an international company prior to moving to China. At university he also received 1st for his bachelor dissertation and merit for his masters dissertation.

Despite coming from a British family he has many years experience in various European languages.  Lawrence lived in the French-speaking sector of Belgium for 10 years, and Italy for 7 years, acquiring high level standards in both spoken French and Italian.
