TEACHING EXPERIENCE
EF Tangshan, China January 2009 – date
In EF Tangshan I have been able to broaden my experience by teaching in Chinese Middle
schools in classes of 60+ students. Lessons were tailored to the schools’ curricula.
Classes taught include:
• Standard EF curriculum (High Flyers, Trail Blazers and Real English levels)
• Early Learners (3-4 years)
• Small Stars (5-6 years)
• Levels 5 and 7 (at two Tangshan Middle schools)
• IELTS classes
• Candidates for University entrance interviews plus various English competitions
including Outlook.
Other responsibilities and activities:
• Preparation of lesson plans
• Giving and marking test papers
• Writing students’ reports and talking to parents.
EF Qinhuangdao, China September – December 2008
Taught students aged from 7 to 18. Class sizes ranged from 6 to 16.
Classes taught included:
• EF English First curriculum based on the “High Flyer”, “Trail Blazers” and “Real
English” books.
• IELTS classes
• Business English customers on a one-to-one basis
