·         Researched and presented empirical information on Latin American and Asian states for a strategic intelligence service specialising in political risk analysis. 
·         Analysed recent, ongoing, and forthcoming political situations and events, such as the 2005 Sri Lankan presidential election, based on empirical data. 
·         Edited the risk-analyses of other reporters, checking for empirical, grammatical, and logical errors, as well as better ways to present accumulated information.

·         Taught private classes (1 – 4 persons), conversational salons (2 – 10 people), and English Corners (up to 50 people) to predominantly young adults with a wide range of English language ability – from absolute beginner to advanced - at one of the largest private English language schools in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China. 
·         Reviewed and revised lesson plans on a class-by-class basis, before joining and working with a team responsible for the permanent revision of flawed lesson plans. 
·         Participated in a pilot scheme of four-part English Corners on a single topic, giving a consecutive series of interactive lectures on ‘The English Gentleman’. 
·         Involved in extra-curricular activities with the students, such as a day out at the local theme park, and a Christmas lunch prepared in the school. 
  
Dec 2007 –  
Apr 2009      Project Manager, Manpower UK 
·         Devised a process enabling effective central management of orders for three client accounts (RBS, Carillion, HSBC) at one of the UK’s largest recruitment companies. 
·         Oversaw the team charged with implementing these accounts, with responsibility for staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation within the team. 
·         Liaised with Manpower’s boardroom, branch network, and partner companies to ensure all parts of the organisation had sufficient knowledge to facilitate their contribution to the successful development of these accounts. 
·         Part of a five-strong team assigned to the preparation and presentation of a pitch for the business of another major client (HSBC), including an extensive Q & A session with three senior HSBC HR executives concerning our proposed business model.

·         Developed and implemented a major new promotional campaign on behalf of a long-standing client (Fosters) for a company specialising in ‘logistical solutions’.
