I am currently in UK but looking to start work in a kindergarten in Shenzhen in August.

I attended an English boarding school from the age of 11 which has made me disciplined, well mannered and assertive. I am a confident teacher, able to plan, perform and evaluate lessons with ease and always have the best interests of the child in mind.

I use plenty of songs,games, flashcards and other materials to keep children of all ages interested and wanting to learn.

I have a degree and TEFL, this along with my public school background makes me a very qualified candidate for any position.

I have one year experience in teaching 3-7 year olds.

November 2009 – April 2010          ENGLISH TEACHER AT SALIA KINDERGARTEN, Yuanhengjia Education Group, NANSHAN, SHENZHEN, CHINA.

Foreign Teacher working with 3-7 year olds and teaching 8 classes a day. A small and new

Kindergarten, so I have had to use a lot of my own initiative and ideas to improve the timetable and the way English is taught at the school. Also tutored several students after class, also one pupil from another school.

August 2009-November 2009      ENGLISH TEACHER FOR JING JING EDUCATION FOUNDATION, SHENZHEN, CHINA

Foreign Teacher involving working with 3-6 year olds on a daily basis at two schools.

Classes were big. Ranging from 20-50 children and between 15-50 minutes a lesson.

During my time there, I also spoke regularly at PR days and co-hosted the yearly company promotion day.

Working for a centre based on Manchester University campus looking after students’ children, meeting them after school and teaching during the day. Similar to an after school club but also had regular sessions during the day.

Summer 2007        CORE LEISURE GROUP, MALLORCA

Sales/Marketing Executive

Worked in Mallorca over the summer advertising and selling places in football tournaments mainly to British tourists. This involved going to see potential customers in hotels, flyer distribution and marketing in the evening. Best achievement includes being responsible for the setting up of an 18 team tournament on my own and managing a small team by the end of summer.
