Summary of qualifications

Though out my life I have continually sought to challenge and educate
myself.
· My quest started at Hillcrest High School in Thunder Bay where I graduated.
· I continued on to $askatchewan University and took Four years of General
Arts
· and Science. I have completed my International TESOL certificate and
· completed four specialization courses under the TESOL umbrella which are :
· teaching English to adults; teaching English to children; teaching business
· English; and teaching English for university preparation (TOEFL)
· teacher. One who
· has a positive attitude, patience, understanding and charisma. A person that
· has faith in themselves, focus, and ambition. I have all of these traits as
· well as an open mindedness and a commitment to learn. I feel a TESOL
teacher
· should not only anticipates challenges but also embraces them and considers
· them a learning tool. I have a great desire to share my knowledge; I have it
· a way of life by incorporating all aspects of learning through my previous
· work history. This includes teaching sports and fitness to children and
· adolescents to training new staff in a variety of business skills. It is
· through life that out greatest learning unfolds and to communicate this by
· teaching English in your country as a second language is the challenge I am
· eager to take part in.

Work experience

WORK EXPERIENCE IN MEXICO/AUG EST 1999 TO AUG EST 2000
- For one year I taught English in Progesso, Mexico .The school was the
University of Progresso, there I taught many business men and also university
students oral and written English
WORK EXPERIENCE IN RUSSIA/AUG EST 2000 TO AUG EST 2001
- I taught in the city of Vladivostok, Russia . the name of the school was ABC
English . There I was teaching children from the age of 3 to 14 years of age . The
school focused on American English a lot and it was very interesting to see the
different culture between Canada and USA.
WORK EXPERIENCE IN CHINA/AUG EST 2001 TO STILL HERE
I came to a city very close to Russia in China called Daqing , Here I taught
business men the ELTIS course , everyone in china that wants to go abroad and
work or go to school must pass this test . I stayed there for 6 months then I
moved to a city called Harbin .
In Harbin I stayed for two years and taught at the following schools
Harbin Institute of Technology
Heilongjiang Collage
Then I moved to Foshan and worked at a school called Ling Dong , it was a
training center .
I then moved to Shenzhen after finishing my contract at a local kindergarten and
now I am in Zhuhai .
In zhuhai I taught children at golden road kinder and English first for 2.5 years .
