Although I have only been working warehouses over the last 7 years I have had to liase with customers in some positions and in the bakery industry. 72-76-Lillyhall Secondary, Workington, Cumbria. Obtaining Art CSE grade 2

76-78-Workington Catering College, Cumbria, where I earned my City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 and Hygiene certificates.

78- 90- Various catering establishments across the UK and Channel Islands. Also Bermuda and Greece. Became Head Chef and ran three restaurants.

90-95- Various Bakeries across Midlands including Coombs, Safeway and Sainsbury’s and became Head Baker.

1995-Attended Hinckley and North Warks College on a C.L.A.I.T Basic Computer Course- Pass.

1995- Started to work in local warehouses but mainly via agencies, (Magna Staff, Staffline, Topgear, Matrix, Extra Personnel and Satchwells).

Warehouses included. Disney, Argos, Asda, Matalan, Adams Bhs/Exel, and Dairy Crest.

My Responsibilities included, Loading , unloading containers, picking stock with the use of hand held scanners, shipping goods to Jersey, Channel Islands via customs ( alcohol ) Housekeeping, fast retrieval of garments to be packed to stores worldwide. Required paperwork on damaged goods. Storing and packing goods safely and securely.

Trained on Reach Trucks. Also pallet and wood trucks. In house Licence

Returned to Whitehaven in 2008 and worked at Argos and Georgian House Hotel.

Argos was in warehouse and shop serving customers and dealing with stock, deliveries and orders. Also worked occasional nights with deliveries and replenishments.

Georgian house was as a domestic, dealing with hygiene, housekeeping, kitchen help.
