Preside over the organization of the chapter philanthropy Gameball Run, which raises 20% of the budget for Camp Hobe, a camp for kids with Cancer. With high medical costs this offers an exhilarating summer camp experience free of charge to infirmed children and their siblings, as well as a curing aspect within this natural environment.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah Jan ‘09- Jan ‘10

Mentor an 11 year old of Rose Park elementary on a weekly basis by building a sturdy friendship for a one year commitment to increase his interpersonal skills, build self-confidence, and aid in scholastic achievement. Our activities include working on homework for 15-20 minutes and then playing sports, schoolyard games, and skateboarding.

Lobby for congressional support on higher educational platforms such as state funding and campaign for the students of the University in a “Go Vote” movement focusing on the registration of all undergraduates for the ’08 election.

Assembly Representative Spring’09

Campaign to represent the students of the College of Behavioral Sciences at the University of Utah on the legislative assembly. Candidate for a position which appropriates funds to the student interest groups on campus and manages the budget.

Union Programming Council of University of Utah

Redfest organizational board Spring ’08- Fall ‘08

Work on the outdoor concert series as a member of the administrative committee that supervise Redfest and other Student Union events. Directly control the performances featuring talented artists such as Mos Def and Flogging Molly while accommodating crowds in the hundreds as well as their concession outlets and merchandising outposts.

I love living in other countries as it is the best way to experience another culture, so far I’ve lived in Berlin, Chiang Mai, and traveled to other countries around them. My hobbies include snowboarding, oil painting on canvas, and playing tennis.
