A one year contract as a teacher of English as a foreign language in a highly successful private language school in Jiangsu Province, China. Students were a mix of all ages, from 4 years to adult. Duties included delivery of standard and demonstration lessons and advertising demos, lesson and course planning, student assessment and writing of reports, placement testing, assisting new staff members, the creation and organization of teaching resources and the attendance of weekly academic training and professional development sessions. Classes included standard on-site lessons, one-to-one and 'VIP' tuition, (including preparation for specific examinations), and off-site classes in local public schools.

A four month work placement as an English Teaching Assistant in a Hungarian Primary School. Duties included lesson preparation, development of lesson plans, delivery of lessons both with other teachers and individually, presentation and demonstration of the English language, leading of activities, pronunciation exercises and so on, as well as one-to-one tuition.
During my time in Budapest I also co-created and ran a weekly football training session for local school children, which was very successful, consistently well-attended and hugely popular with the children.
