Youth Coumsellor
In this highly energetic role I ran activities and ensured that all the children (aged 3 to 17)
felt included in their respective centres. I performed in shows for the kids, and maintained a
safe and fun atmosphere for all. As part of the youth team I implemented educational
programmes which taught the children about the ocean and its many inhabitants.

My duties as a referee are to enforce the rules and to maintain fairness. This job requires

Volunteer Experience
Day Camp Program Assistant
Working in the summer day camp programs with children 5-13 years old, I assisted in the
supervision of activities in a variety of camp settings. I also helped plan the daily activities
while being an enthusiastic participant.
Games Patrol
My overall responsibilities at the pool were ensuring the visitors had fun while playing
safely. I was a “games patrol” volunteer, which meant that I found new and creative ways
to have fun in the pool. I also enjoyed wearing the mascot suit to entertain the smaller
children and those celebrating their birthday.
Camp Counsellor
As a camp counsellor for children with cerebral palsy and autism I assisted with daily
activities at week long camps. I assisted in daily activities and taught basic life skills while
ensuring a fun holiday away from home. |
