- September 2010 – Present. Beijing Jiaotong University. Currently teaching oral English to
graduate students in the Software Engineering Department.
- July 2008 – June 2010. English First, Beijing. Currently teaching oral English to adults including
public speaking skills, debate, pronunciation, grammar, and learning strategies.
- February 2007 – June 2008. Sino Bright High School. Taught ESL, Language Arts and
Social Studies to grades 7 through 11 in a Canadian offshore school (B.C. Curriculum).
- June 2003 – December 2006. Business English Classes, Beijing. Taught Business English and
Public Speaking in multinational companies such as BP China, Intel China, Novo Nordisk China
- June 2003 – May, 2004 (Concurrent with above Business Classes). IELTS Training Classes in
Beijing. Prepared students for the IELTS exam.
- September 2002 – June 2003. Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Taught
reading, writing and presentation skills.
- September 2001 – June 2002. Yantai Normal University. Taught academic and oral English to
university students who planned to study abroad.
- September 2000 – May 2001. Global English Corporation. Taught English to adults through the
Internet, using both text chat and voice.
- September 1999 – March 2000. Home Pal English Conversation Schools, Kobe and Osaka,
Japan. Helped teachers work with children aged 3 to 10 using cooperative games and songs.
- September 1993 – July 1999. Public Middle Schools (grades 7-12) in Japan. Taught vocabulary,
listening and speaking to large classes using games and cooperative pair practice activities.
- September 1991 – May 1992. Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of
Technology. Prepared ESL students for studying and working in the United States.
- January 1989 – June 1991 . Sundai Foreign Language Institute. Taught conversation, grammar,
vocabulary, reading, writing and academic English.

conversation to Japanese students, travelers and businessmen.
