Personal Interests

I am an avid reader, and consider it essential to continuing my education in all subjects as well as maintaining and improving language skills.

I obsessively play tennis and enjoy the competitive and social aspect of the game, taking part in my local club group lessons and matches.  Exercise has been very important to me throughout my life and I keep fit with running and weights, as well as regularly competing in organized events such and marathons and triathlons.

I have always been fascinated in other countries and cultures, and have traveled during my gap year and on charity works.  In 2006 I cycled from London to Rome to raise money and awareness for the suffering caused by the Arab-Israeli conflict, traveling with up to two hundred other cyclists.  In 2010 I drove from England to Mongolia, and raised over £2000 for destitute children.  Crossing many remote parts of the world has provided me with unique experiences and insights in to other cultures, this has fueled my desire to learn and experience more.

I have a full clean UK driving and motorcycle license.
