May 2002, graduated from UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) with

a Master’s Degree in Classics (the literary and language analysis and research of ancient Greek and Roman works of literature)  

Related Work Experience

1999-2002 as a teaching assistant for the Classics Department at UIUC, teaching the following undergraduate courses:

1.       Introduction to Ancient Roman Civilization.

2.       Introduction to Greek and Roman epic poetry: the literary and historical analysis of Greek and Roman epic poems in English translation.

3.       Introduction to ancient Greek Tragedy: discussions on the theory of Greek drama and the analysis of the content of particular tragedies by author, period, and style.

4.       Elementary Latin Language course for the Classics majors.

5.       A basic course on Indo-european linguistics with the emphasis on Romance languages.

Related duties included proctoring and grading exams, preparing test questions, pop quizzes, grading term papers etc.
