ENGLISH TEACHER
I teach one-to-one English to a student from Afghanistan who is seeking asylum in the UK. I also help my student to integrate into the local community.

I taught legal and business English to Italian professionals. The classes were small groups or one-to-one and my students included the head lawyers from Italy’s two largest energy companies.

I taught English to Korean schoolchildren aged between 5 and 12. I was responsible for planning and teaching each lesson and I trained and supervised new English teachers.
Reason for leaving: I left to travel around South East Asia.

I was a practising solicitor specialising in Civil/Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution. I had responsibility for my own clients and files and I worked on a wide variety of cases.
Reason for leaving: As a result of the recession the firm was forced to make a number of redundancies and as a junior employee I was one of those selected for redundancy.

TRAINEE SOLICITOR
I completed my 2-year training contract to become a solicitor.
Reason for leaving: I left to take a position as a fully-qualified solicitor.
Summer of 2004
After completing my Law degree and before starting my Legal Practice Course I spent 3 months in the USA working in a theme park and then travelling.
Summers of 2001 to 2003
I worked as a barman at Headingley Cricket and Rugby Stadium in Leeds, England, for three successive summers becoming a bar supervisor.
