Tertiary Lecturer

I was employed as a tertiary lecturer with TAFE Queensland for over seventeen (17) years.  In that time, I lectured adult students from entry to diploma level in various education and training programs.  In my principal teacher role, I managed the introduction, administration and reporting of courses including the development and implementation of normative based and competency based assessment instruments for syllabi I taught. On reflection, my extensive adult teaching experience has highlighted that adult learners have a strong need to achieve and therefore, adult students expect teachers to present well prepared, informative lessons to their group. Likewise, learners in the English Second Language (ESL) classroom will also expect well prepared, well presented lessons from me.

 

I believe my flexible approach in achieving my goals is equally important in the public and private business sectors.
