Native Russian speaker with native English-speaking skills. Degree in linguistics and translation theory, broad experience in oral and written translations from Russian into English and vice-versa. Able to give lectures in general linguistics, stylistics and translation theory (both in English and Russian). September 2008 – February 2011: private English tutor for adults (20 – 48 years old) and children (8 – 12).

September 2007 – June 2010: Excello LLC Trade Company. Position: executive’s translating assistant. Responsibilities: preparation and delivery of English training sessions for Executive and his team of senior managers, written and oral translations, phone negotiations with English-speaking partners from Canada and US.   

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND PERSONALITY TRAITS

·        Native English-speaking skills: five-year university degree in linguistics equivalent to Bachelor of Art and three-year extensive experience of translation work (currently employed as an outsourced English-to-Russian and Russian-to-English translator for McKinsey & Company consulting firm) 

·        Fluent, clear and grammatically correct English speech, excellent writing skills (business and informal letters, commercial presentations, etc.)
