Taught English at the Boston Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights - a division of the Boston Medical Center and Boston University and with Literacy Unlimited. The goal is treating/educating students/patients who often have been exposed to extremes of human cruelty, these programs provide comprehensive medical, mental health and social services to refugees and those who have received, or are applying for, asylum. More than 300 people - many of them survivors of torture - come from more than 65 countries each year. 2011 -2012
