2004-2006 US Army Medic; served as nurse and doctor’s assistant providing
family health-care for soldiers’ families with Butzbach Family
Health-Care Clinic, Butzbach, Germany.
2006-2008 Enrolled with the University of Memphis; studied philosophy as an
undergraduate.
2008-2009 One year study-abroad with Beijing Language and Culture University;
studied Chinese language.

Comments;
I am currently studying Chinese with Renmin University, and have begun seeking
full-time employment as an English teacher. Having studied Chinese for 1.5 years, I
have a personal understanding of the difficulty of learning a foreign language. In
terms of language pedagogy, I have an intimate appreciation for effective learning
strategies and methodologies. Having spent the last five years as a full-time university
student, I believe I am wholly competent enough to establish myself, passionately, as
an English teacher.
Personal Interests;
Lately, I have been studying physics on my own in continued development of my
thesis. I read and write philosophy, and also enjoy weight-lifting. |
