09/2006 – 06/2009 Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, Bellevue, Washington, USA Completed secondary education with special focus in the Humanities of the last year. Graduated with 5 college credits from Seattle University for completing the Senior Seminar called Power and Powerlessness. Which focused on women in the worlds cultures and societies.
Practical Experience 07/2012 – 10/2012 Violence is not our Culture Campaign, Online Global Movement Social Media and Communication Internship. Began in mid-July and will continue for three month with a possibility of an extended period of time. Main tasks included updating Facebook, Webpage and Twitter account with news articles. Extra tasks included building a contact database and assistance on projects.
07/2012 – 07/2012 Qendra Komunitare "Sot per te Ardhmen," Durrës, Albania Internship. The Community Center "Today for the Future" is a local NGO in Durrës, Albania. During July I gave workshops and seminars in their center. Topics that were covered specialized in the area of Reproductive Health, Family Planning, Gender Norms and Gender Differences. These topics were selected on a needs based for the local community.

06/2011 – 08/2011 WAVE (Women Against Violence Europe), Vienna, Austria Internship. Job Title: Programme Coordinator Assistant. Main Tasked included compiling information for the website "Training Programme for Health Care Providers" (http://www.respondgbveeca.org/). Also assisted with the preparation of international meetings and conferences.
Extracurricular Activities 04/2010 – 12/2011 Vagina Monologues 2012 (Jacobs University), Bremen, Germany Member of Main Organizing Team. Content Manager of "World Wide Phenomena" night. In addiction to our annual Vagina Monologue Event we planned four nights of awareness. Topics include: feminism, social constructs, rape, human trafficking, fistula, and violence against women. We targeted at informing the Jacobs University community and provoking discussion. Vagina Monologues 2011 I was a performer and heavily involved in organization of final production. The event was a success and we were able to raise over 1000 Euro for the Frauen Haus in Bremen.
10/2008 – 06/2009 House of Hope: Mama's Helping Hands, North Bend, Washington, USA Volunteer. House of Hope is a shelter for women from domestic violence. I volunteered weekly for 8 months and I received a $1000 dollar scholarship from Mama's Helping Hands for my good work.
09/2007 – 07/2009 Act Out Club (Forest Ridge School), Bellevue, Washington, USA Co-President. Act Out's goal was to increase awareness of issues like sexism, ageism, racism, and homophobia not only for ourselves but for our community. Each week we focused on different topics and areas, giving life stories, discussions and informing ourselves of current events. Organizing awareness raising events was also a main focus for the club. We started the club in September of 2007 and the club still continues today.
