I just finished the contract for this college. I was teaching the students basic Business English. My focus was teaching the students correct pronunciation, basic conversational grammar, and vocabulary acquisition. I also educated the students in alternative learning methods to be used outside of the classroom.

I was responsible for care and raising of salmon in a hatchery in Alaska in isolated conditions.  Offshore work monitoring the conditions and status of the salmon was required.  I also provided maintenance for the worksite and equipment, assisted in the incubation of salmon, and whatever tasks were needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

I was a Correctional Officer at this center.  The responsibilities included booking, transporting, and guarding jail inmates and close cooperation and teamwork with other officers at the facility

Additional Relevant factors:

After being raised in the United States I have travelled in Australia, Central America, China, Japan and Korea. I enjoy learning about other cultures and interacting with people from other countries. I find it both interesting and fulfilling to help people from other cultures learn and understand the English language.

I enjoy working and cooperating with others to accomplish a common goal.

I believe that one of my traits is adaptability, allowing me to work comfortably in different locales and with people of different cultures.
