Greetings! As an experienced professional group leader with a master’s degree in intercultural management and an ESL certification, I would like to express my enthusiasm to work as an ESL instructor for your school.
I am currently teaching teenagers and adults at Meten English in Shaoxing. I enjoy teaching because I desire to facilitate communication among cultures. I accomplish this by facilitating individuals to communicate through the common language of English.
Through my education and professional practice, I learned that a competent teacher engages their students with fun, learning activities that connect to various learning styles. As a teacher, I use discussion questions, teaching aids and stimulating group activities for students. I also allow students to reflect upon their learning processes. As a personal touch to my approach, I utilize teaching sessions to learn about my students in order to enhance my teaching and student learning experiences.
My previous background relevant to this position include using various teaching techniques to teach English as a second language to students at Meten English and to Korean students in South Korea. It also includes utilizing active listening skills while facilitating workshops for Liberian refugee adults in Ghana. Furthermore, I’ve gained knowledge about the difficulties of learning a foreign language as a study abroad student studying German in Austria.
I would like to thank you for reviewing my cover letter and resume, and I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this opportunity with you. I invite you to contact me at your convenience. |
